Service overview
FreeDB provides online MySQL database hosting for development, learning, testing, demos, and small projects. Free databases are temporary and are designed for short-lived data.
Free temporary databases
The free plan includes up to 2 temporary databases and up to 100 MB total database storage. Free plan databases auto-delete after 1 day. You are responsible for exporting or backing up any data you want to keep before the deletion window ends.
Persistent plan
The persistent plan is $3/month and includes up to 5 persistent databases and up to 200 MB total database storage. The plan keeps eligible databases active while the subscription remains active. If a persistent subscription is canceled, expires, or payment fails, databases may return to temporary behavior or become eligible for deletion.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel the persistent plan from your dashboard. There is no notice period for cancellation. Payments are final and no refunds will be granted, including for unused time, accidental purchase, cancellation, account inactivity, or data deletion after cancellation or plan expiry.
Storage and fair use
Database size must not exceed the plan storage limit: 100 MB total storage on the free plan and 200 MB total storage on the persistent plan. FreeDB may limit, suspend, or remove databases that exceed plan limits or affect service reliability.
Acceptable use
Do not use FreeDB for spam, abuse, malware, credential theft, illegal content, denial-of-service activity, high-volume scraping, or storing sensitive regulated data. Accounts or databases that harm service reliability may be limited, suspended, or removed.
Data responsibility
FreeDB is provided as a lightweight database hosting service. Keep your own backups for important data. FreeDB is not responsible for data loss from temporary deletion, user deletion, cancellation, service interruption, plan limits, storage limits, or misuse of credentials.
