As soon as your PayPal subscription completes, your account upgrades to Persistent and the 30-day expiration date (expires_at) on all of your existing databases is immediately cleared so they never expire.
How do Pro backups and recovery work?
Pro and Dedicated databases are backed up every day at 02:00 UTC using mysqldump --single-transaction and compressed as .sql.gz. Up to 5 daily backups are retained per database, plus you can click Take Backup anytime and restore via the SQL Import tool.
What happens if my subscription is cancelled or ends?
Your databases remain persistent through the end of your paid billing cycle. After your billing period ends, your databases are not immediately deleted—instead, they receive a 30-day grace timer so you have a full month to export your data or resubscribe.
What happens if I exceed the 100 MB (Free) or 1 GB (Pro) storage limit?
We never delete your tables for exceeding storage. If an account exceeds its quota, write privileges (INSERT, UPDATE, CREATE) are temporarily paused while SELECT, DELETE, and DROP stay active so your app can still read data while you free space or upgrade.
